Job Title : Director of Field Services

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operational & Strategic Execution :  Implement and support the Field Services strategy aligned with business objectives and growth initiatives. Develop scalable service delivery models, best practices, and tools to enhance operational efficiency, consistency, and quality.
  • Team Leadership & Development :  Lead and mentor Field Services managers and team members, instilling a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Identify skills gaps and collaborate with leadership on targeted training plans to prepare your team for current and future challenges.
  • Operational Excellence & Performance Management :  Standardize workflows and operational procedures to optimize service delivery and client outcomes. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Client Engagement & Escalations :  Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment between service delivery and client expectations. Take charge of issue resolution, nurturing strong relationships built on trust and reliability.

Required Skills :

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in field services, service delivery, or operations in a technology or services-driven organization.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, including managing managers or senior technical professionals.
  • RCDD or DCDC certification.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network solutions, and field engineering services.
  • Proven track record with data center buildouts and large-scale field deployments.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Nice to Have Skills :

  • MBA or Masters degree.
  • Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, and / or CDCDP.
  • Experience with enterprise clients in cloud computing, telecommunications, or managed services.
  • Familiarity with Nvidia sales or related partner ecosystems.
  • An established industry network for talent recruitment efforts.

    • Other Requirements :

  • Willingness to travel up to 3040% as needed.
  • Commitment to ongoing security awareness training and compliance with company policies.
