Job Type : Full-Time

Target Salary Range

  • : $130,000 - $160,000.
  • This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience and / or certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salary

Position Overview :

The Amatriot Group is seeking a highly experienced Production / Manufacturing SME with 10+ years of proven industry experience to lead the development, optimization, and execution of advanced manufacturing processes in support of marine and naval engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of standing up production lines from scratch, driving automation in manufacturing, and leading high-performance teams in precision production environments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design, setup, and launch of a new production line, including equipment specification, process flow, and staffing.
  • Oversee automated manufacturing and assembly operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Integrate advanced manufacturing technologies, including 3D printing, CAD / CAM, and other digital manufacturing tools.
  • Apply marine and naval engineering manufacturing expertise to ensure compliance with industry and defense standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA).
  • Serve as project manager, overseeing schedules, budgets, and deliverables for manufacturing initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain precision manufacturing processes suitable for shipbuilding or marine-related applications.
  • Mentor and supervise production staff, fostering a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

    • Qualifications :

  • U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain at least an Interim Secret clearance (active clearance preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in production / manufacturing, with direct involvement in launching new production lines.
  • Strong background in automated manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Hands-on experience with 3D printing, CAD / CAM systems, and digital manufacturing integration.
  • Experience in marine, naval, or shipbuilding precision manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management and cross-functional coordination.
  • Solid project management experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Active Secret or higher DoD security clearance.
  • Direct experience in DoD or defense-related manufacturing programs.
  • Knowledge of relevant MIL-SPEC, marine classification, and naval standards.
