The Hurricane Helene NC & TN Long-Term Recovery Individual Resiliency and Preparedness Manager reports to the Deputy Director, Long-Term Recovery and serves as the manager of all client services activity, including those related to the Bridge and Expanded Recovery Assistance programs as well as preparedness initiatives. The Individual Resiliency and Preparedness Manager will provide overall case management direction and is responsible for the achievement of the Long-Term Recovery Operation casework and preparedness goals, oversight of and support for casework and case review activities and will closely coordinate with regional and National Headquarters volunteers and employees. The Individual Resiliency and Preparedness Manager will be responsible for reporting, compliance, monitoring and evaluation of all unit activities.
This role is not eligible for relocation assistance. This is a remote position working in the counties impacted by the Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. Frequent travel in these areas for meetings and other activities will be required. This is a term-limited, benefits eligible position expected to last 12 months from date of hire with the opportunity to extend based on business need.
The salary range for this position is $71,208-77,600. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.

Minimum Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree is required.
Experience : Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Management Experience : 1 year of lead or supervisory experience. Skills & Abilities : Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates knowledge of program or service. Demonstrated ability in creating presentations and developing training modules. Develops strategies to achieve organizational goals. Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills to develop creative processes for continuous program or service improvements. Proven track record of collaboration, facilitation, problem solving, marketing, leadership, and partnership management. Additionally, this position requires ability for planning, public speaking, project management and process improvement. Individuals must be customer oriented, organized, and focused on solutions. Ability to work independently, handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to assess client need and provide services equitably and consistently. Identifies and resolves problems and / or develops alternative solutions. Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
Other : Intermediate level proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Ability to utilize a variety of technical systems with ease.
Travel : Travel may be required. Must have a Valid Driver's License

The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and have the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
