Application Security Engineer

A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer to perform application security testing and collaborate with development teams to enhance security practices.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct application security testing across various platforms to identify vulnerabilities

Create detailed reports on security issues and provide actionable recommendations for remediation

Educate development teams on secure coding practices and promote overall application security awareness

Required Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in application security testing, including DAST, SAST, OSS testing, and IAC

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

Relevant certifications such as EC-Council C|ASE or (ISC)2 CSSLP

Experience with OWASP Top Ten security vulnerabilities and the Software Development Life Cycle

Proven ability to implement secure coding practices and provide training to development teams
