Location : Richmond, VA or Boston, MA (Hybrid, East Coast preferred)

Pay Rate : 70 / hr on W2 range

Position Description :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Vendor Manager (Sourcing Specialist) to lead third-party risk management and optimize vendor performance for a major financial services organization. In this role, you will own critical vendor relationships, ensure adherence to risk and compliance frameworks, and collaborate closely with executives and stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional passionate about vendor governance, risk mitigation, and fostering strong partnerships in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage a diverse portfolio of third-party vendors, ensuring full compliance with established third-party risk management (TPRM) frameworks.
• Monitor and analyze vendor performance through KPIs, SLAs, and contractual obligations; identify gaps and implement solutions to maintain service excellence.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and executives to provide actionable insights, influence vendor strategy, and facilitate effective vendor negotiations.
• Conduct ongoing risk assessments, performance reviews, and resiliency planning for assigned vendors to mitigate potential risks.
• Assist in reviewing, negotiating, and enhancing vendor contracts to ensure compliance and optimal terms.
• Lead executive vendor performance meetings and maintain transparent communication to drive measurable improvements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement continuous third-party monitoring and address escalations promptly.
• Support organizational goals by contributing to the achievement of third-party risk management objectives for 2025 and beyond.
