Overview



As Renata's General Manager, you would be responsible for the management, direction and organization of Renata's operations to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. Specifically, this includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations ensuring seamless and efficient execution.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and overall guest experience.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop seasonal menus, optimize kitchen operations, and maintain food cost control.
  • Monitor the outlets, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment with attention to presentation and guest preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for service efficiency and consistency.

Financial & Business Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets, revenue goals, and cost-control measures.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze reports, and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, menu engineering, and promotional events to drive sales.
  • Manage labor costs, staff scheduling, and productivity.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of restaurant servers, hosts, and support staff.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and guest-focused work environment.
  • Conduct regular staff training on service standards, upselling techniques, and guest engagement.
  • Perform performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence:

  • Ensure an elevated and seamless dining experience for guests, both in the restaurant and through the grab and go outlet.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and service recovery in a professional and timely manner.
  • Work closely with the front office and concierge teams to accommodate VIP requests, special dietary needs, and personalized experiences.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and implement strategies to enhance service quality.
  • Conduct table touches with all guests going through the restaurant to ensure satisfaction. Maintain constant floor presence during peak and need times.
  • Assist in any other Outlet based on Operation needs and as assigned by Management

Marketing & Promotions:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and promote dining events, seasonal offerings, and Cup & Cone specials.
  • Analyze market trends and guest preferences to enhance restaurant and grab and go experiences.
  • Utilize guest engagement tools, loyalty programs, and social media to drive reservations and revenue.


Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent, required
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field, preferred
  • At least three (3) years of food and beverage leadership experience
  • Minimum five (5) years in restaurants, preferably in a resort or luxury hotel setting
  • Luxury hotel experience, preferred
  • Maricopa County Food Handlers Card
  • Alcohol Awareness or Tips Card
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Fun, outgoing and energetic personality
  • Team player

  • Driven to grow within food and beverage
