AMPS Law, P.C. is seeking a highly motivated attorney with 3–5 years of litigation experience to join our dynamic landlord-tenant litigation team. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a fast-paced, well-respected firm with a strong presence in Housing Court and a commitment to professional development and work-life balance.

As an Associate Attorney, you will play a central role in representing institutional landlord clients in a broad range of litigation matters, with a primary focus on Housing Court proceedings, but also in District Court, Superior Court, Federal Court and before administrative agencies such as the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, motion hearings, mediations, case management conferences, and administrative hearings.
  • Conduct all aspects of litigation, including legal research, discovery, and trial preparation
  • Draft and argue motions, prepare legal memoranda, and related pleadings
  • Advise clients on landlord-tenant law, fair housing compliance, and litigation strategy
  • Negotiate and finalize settlements and stipulations
  • Manage a high-volume caseload with autonomy and efficiency

Qualifications :

  • J.D. and admission to the Massachusetts Bar (NH and RI admissions a plus)
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of litigation experience, with courtroom experience strongly preferred
  • Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
