Environment Artist for the Animation TV Series (Remote)

Job Summary / Objective :

Alter-Learning Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and creative Environment Artist to join our remote team. As an Environment Artist, you will be responsible for creating visually captivating and immersive environments for our animation TV series projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop visually stunning and high-quality environments, including landscapes, interiors, and architectural elements.
• Utilize industry-standard 3D packages such as Maya, Blender, or Unreal Engine to create and implement environment assets into the game engine.
• Collaborate closely with the art and design teams to understand the project’s creative vision and ensure environments align with the desired aesthetic and mood.
• Create and optimize 3D models, textures, materials, and props to build cohesive and realistic or stylized environments.
• Apply lighting techniques to enhance the visual quality of the environment and create the desired atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the art and technical teams to address any technical issues related to environment creation and ensure functionality and performance.
• Provide support and documentation for the art and design teams regarding environment implementation and technical processes.
• Meet project deadlines and milestones, managing time effectively to prioritize and complete tasks promptly.
• Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies related to environment art and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the visual impact of our games.
