Descripción del trabajoHigh School Diploma or equivalent certificate. Boiler Operator License required. Some background in operator activities; hot sample taking, insulating vessels, cleaning flushing and reassembling of vessels and miscellaneous Ability to assess equipment for problems and understand solutions for fixing once demonstrated. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently. Take responsibility for the sustainability of Axens and ensuring quality performance Report any and all quality related issues or non-conformities to your manager Maintain awareness, proactively participate and support all Axens policies for quality management Assist in the continual improvement of an effective Integrated Management System complying with the requirements of ISO 9001 : 2015 Assist in achieving Site, Department, Regional and Global Quality Management Program goals and objectives. Take responsibility for the health and safety of self and others Report any and all health and safety incidents to your manager Maintain awareness, proactively participate and support all Axens policies and objectives regarding health and safety Assist in the continual improvement of an effective Integrated Management System complying with the requirements of ISO 45001 : 2018 Assist in achieving Site, Departmental, Regional and Global Health and Safety goals and objectives Take responsibility for the sustainability of Axens and protecting the environment Report any and all environmental concerns or incidents to your manager Maintain awareness, proactively participate and support all Axens policies regarding environmental protection Assist in the continual improvement of an effective Integrated Management System complying with the requirements of ISO 14001 : 2015 Assist in achieving Site, Departmental, Regional and Global Environmental Management Program goals and objectives

Job Summary
A Unit Operator will be a member of the HTI operations department, be placed on one of HIT’s shift groups and report directly to an operations supervisor. As a unit operator the main requirements will be to learn and develop the skills to be promoted to senior unit operator.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
- To assist the more senior operators in all operations duties largely consisting of maintaining operations of HTI’s Equipment.
- Computer skills and ability to interface with HTI’s DCS to control operating units.
- Ability to work safely, participate in safety programs, and utilize PPE as required
- Demonstrate a good performance record of on time and no unexcused absences
- Conform to good housekeeping practices for all job assignments
- Be available for reasonable amounts of overtime
- Respond to emergency calls
