In-Home Care Assistance

Right at Home, an award-winning and exceptionally busy in-home care assistance agency, is looking for Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our fantastic team. We are hiring HHA and PCA to fill hourly shifts across Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The ideal candidate is caring, compassionate and is sincerely interested in improving the life of those we serve. Driver's License preferred but not required.

Home Health Aide Responsibilities

Caring for ill, or disabled persons. Responsibilities may include light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping and running errands, companionship, and assistance with personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Primarily work in the client's place of residence. Travel is required. Shift times, days, and activities vary with clients' needs.

Job Requirements

HHA / PCA Requirements :

• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick
• Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
• Valid driver's license a plus but not required
• Successfully complete a written competency evaluation and background screening
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Reliable, caring, compassionate and mature caregivers who are sincerely interested in improving the life of others we serve
• Pass a drug screen and a nationwide background check

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Live In

Compensation : $16.50 per hour
