VDP Partners LLC is a Texas-licensed public adjusting firm representing homeowners and business owners during insurance claim settlements. We advocate exclusively for policyholders, not insurance companies and ensuring our clients receive fair and accurate compensation for property losses caused by hail, wind, water, fire, or other insured events.
We are seeking a motivated and licensed Public Adjuster to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of property damage assessment, insurance policy interpretation, and claim negotiation. You’ll conduct inspections, document losses, prepare estimates, and communicate directly with clients and insurance carriers to achieve optimal claim outcomes.
This is a field-based role with flexible scheduling, hands-on inspection work, and client interaction across residential and commercial properties in Texas.
Responsibilities
- Inspect residential and commercial properties to assess damage resulting from storms, fire, water, or other covered perils.
- Prepare detailed claim documentation including photos, reports, and repair / replacement estimates (using Xactimate or similar estimating software).
- Review and interpret homeowners’ and commercial insurance policies to determine applicable coverage and exclusions.
- Prepare and submit claims on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) standards.
- Negotiate fair settlements with insurance company adjusters on behalf of policyholders.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide claim updates and ensure satisfaction throughout the process.
- Collaborate with internal team members (estimators, operations, and client relations) to coordinate inspections and claim timelines.
- Attend team meetings, ongoing training, and continuing education sessions as required by state licensing regulations.
Requirements
Must hold a current Texas Public Adjuster License (or be eligible to obtain one).Proven experience in property claims adjustment, construction estimation, restoration, roofing, or related field preferred.Strong understanding of residential and commercial building systems, materials, and repair practices.Proficiency with Xactimate, MS Office Suite, and mobile inspection applications (e.g., Hover, EagleView, CompanyCam).Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (fieldwork and client visits required).Ability to safely use inspection equipment such as ladders, drones, tablets, cameras, and moisture meters.Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple active claims independently.Willingness to travel locally within Texas for inspections and client meetings.
