Allied Universal Special Police Officers assigned to hospital environments are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure setting for patients, visitors, and staff. Officers perform regular patrols of assigned areas, enforce facility rules and regulations, investigate incidents, and provide professional assistance and information to those on hospital grounds. The department's mission is to ensure safety, preserve order, and enhance the overall security posture of the healthcare system.

Qualifications
Certification : Must be certified as a Company Police Officer by the North Carolina Training and Standards Commission. Education : High School Diploma or equivalent and successful completion of an accredited Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program. Must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record. Must successfully complete background investigation, psychological evaluation, and drug screening. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion, empathy, and sound judgment. Must maintain required annual in-service training and adhere to departmental standards.
