Network Scientist

A company is looking for a Network Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

Define and govern network metrics, maintaining the Metric Dictionary and updating evidence-based priors / posteriors

Lead network-aware experimentation by designing and approving Pre-Analysis Plans (PAPs) and ensuring experimental integrity

Model and simulate the network to produce forecasts and guide portfolio allocation, while publishing reports on network structure and performance

Required Qualifications

PhD or equivalent research experience in computational social science, network science, economics, computer science, or a related field

5-10 years of hands-on experience with causal inference, agent-based modeling, or graph analytics in complex systems

Experience designing and running experiments in decentralized environments

Exposure to mechanism design in matching markets or funding mechanisms

Ability to translate research outputs into product or policy decisions
