ITnova is seeking an experienced IT Technical Writer to develop a new RFP for the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation’s Real Property Assessment and Valuation System replacement. The ideal candidate has at least six years of experience writing IT technical documents, including RFPs and procedure manuals, and excels at translating complex technical content into clear, user-friendly language. Strong communication skills and a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field are required.

Location : 700 E. Pratt Street, Suite 2400, Baltimore, MD 21202

Performance period : 6.1.25 to 12.31.25 with one 8-month renewal option.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Must have excellent verbal and written English Communication Skills.
• Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.
• Gather information from subject-matter experts to develop, organize and write technical specifications. Thorough understanding of industry, IT language and requirements.
