ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Mount Vernon, OH 43050 (Ohio healthcare jobs) Facility : Community Hospital – Emergency Room (ER) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : March 2, 2026 Contract Duration : 16 weeks Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910 Patient Ratio : 1 : 4 Free Parking : Available Block Scheduling : May be available upon request Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Ohio RN license preferred) Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required (2 years preferred) BLS and ACLS certifications required NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications preferred Proficiency with EMR systems (Paragon / Allscripts preferred) Ability to float to similar units within the hospital or affiliate healthcare facilities Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Previous travel nurse and charge nurse experience preferred ER RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ER setting Perform triage, assessment, and management of acute and emergent medical conditions Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies as per clinical protocols Manage trauma cases, including neuro-trauma, orthopedic trauma, and traumatic brain injuries Interpret arterial blood gases and cardiac dysrhythmias Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, social services) Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems Participate in procedural sedation, ventilator management, and care for ventilated patients Support patients and families through education and emotional support in the emergency care setting Take the next step in your nursing career with this rewarding Emergency Room Registered Nurse travel job in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
