IR / Cath Lab Tech – Days | 5x8s (07 : 30–16 : 00)\n\nCROSS POSTING – Job ID# 3074687\nRTO AFTER BOOKING IS NOT ALLOWED – Any additional RTO or call-offs may result in cancel / DNR.\nTechs start directly on the unit every Monday until Dimensions training is completed.\n\nShift & Contract\n\nShift : Days, 5x8s, 07 : 30–16 : 00\n\nHours : 40 hours / week (13–20 week contracts accepted)\n\nNo holiday RTO allowed\n\nFloat Requirement : None\n\nWeekend Requirement : Every 3rd weekend\n\nCall Requirements\n\nWeekday Call : 16 : 00–07 : 30, 2x per week for 2 weeks each month\n\nWeekend Call : Fri 16 : 00 – Mon 07 : 30, 1 weekend / month\n\nNo weekday call the week after weekend call\n\nCallback time : \n\nSTEMI : 30 minutes\n\nIR : Based on procedure type\n\nCall Team : 3 staff members (one must be an RN)\n\nRequired Experience / Skills\n\nMinimum Experience : 2 years\n\nTraveler Experience : Not required\n\nLocals Accepted : Yes\n\nRequired Skills : \n\nScrub\n\nCirculate\n\nTelemetry\n\nIR experience is mandatory (unit is ~90% IR)\n\nCertifications Required : \n\nACLS\n\nBCLS\n\nARRT or RCIS\n\nPreferred Skills / Certs\n\nPerform EKG lead placement\n\nARRT Advanced, RCES, RCIS with Med experience\n\nUnit & Case Mix\n\nCombo Lab : Interventional Radiology / Cardiology / Vascular / EP\n\nApproximate split : 80% IR / 10% Other cardiology / vascular / EP\n\nPatient Population : Adults, geriatrics\n\nCommon Diagnoses / Devices : Pacemakers, ICDs\n\nDuties : \n\nAssist providers during diagnostic & interventional procedures\n\nScrub & circulate for IR, Cath Lab, and cardiology cases\n\nMedication administration performed only by RNs\n\nEquipment Used\n\nGE MAC Lab\n\nPhilips iFR / IVUS\n\nCanon & GE labs\n\nAngioJet\n\nPenumbra\n\nEKOS\n\nInari\n\nCSI Atherectomy system\n\nBovie system for implants\n\nPlasma Blade cutter\n\nRF ablation unit\n\nVenous closure unit\n\nSonoSite S2000 US\n\nIABP\n\nImpella\n\nOrientation / Training\n\n40 hours (up to 80 hours)\n\nScrubs provided\n\nMust start on the unit every Monday before Dimensions training\n\nInterview Requirements\n\nInterview availability for the next 72 hours MUST be included with submission.\nManager will not offer without an interview.
