Description
This role is responsible for optimizing the performance of business operations by analyzing current data and forecasting future performance. The analyst will conduct analyses, gather, organize, and review data to support business operations and planning activities, ensuring processes are integrated and effective across departments. The role requires developing an understanding of business needs and objectives, solving straightforward problems with some scope and complexity, and developing proficiency with procedures and analysis techniques.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses and generate reports to support business operations and planning, including budget development, equipment availability, and other capabilities.
- Assess requirements for internal business processes, ensuring integration across teams and alignment with organizational strategic goals.
- Document business processes and workflows; identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
- Analyze and evaluate business data to identify solutions for basic problems, using quantitative analysis methods such as data, cost-benefit, and process measurement analysis.
- Analyze processes and workflows to understand the value chain, input / output, and identify opportunities for improvement or automation.
- Create reports highlighting key performance indicators, areas for operational improvement, and root cause analysis of problems.
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in business and operational strategy, planning, and analysis.Basic understanding of the business and operating environment.Working knowledge of data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis, and operations research.Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Effective problem resolution skills, including identifying root causes and scope of issues.Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.Project management skills to lead small to medium scope projects and initiatives, effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.Preferred : Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.J-18808-Ljbffr
