Pharmacy Technician

Job Title : Pharmacy Technician – Hospital Setting (NYC)

Location : New York, NY

Job Type : Full-Time | 5 shifts per week (8 hours each)

Compensation : Up to $32 / hour (based on experience)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Pharmacy Technician to join our hospital-based pharmacy team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have recent hospital pharmacy experience , hold an active CPhT certification , and be prepared to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, midnight shifts, and weekends. This role requires someone who is 100% committed and ready to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and dispensing medications within a hospital pharmacy setting
• Manage and maintain inventory of medications and supplies
• Accurately process medication orders and restock automated dispensing machines
• Comply with hospital policies, infection control, and state / federal regulations
• Assist in sterile and non-sterile compounding as required
• Provide excellent service and communication to nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
