Security Officer - Access Control

As a Security Officer - Access Control Full Time in SEGUIN, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your role is vital in providing exceptional customer service to employees and visitors, assisting with access management, and supporting a secure environment. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thu 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Monitor access points at the location to verify credentials and manage entry and exit procedures for personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control within a food and beverage facility.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations using calm, problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate clearly and courteously with employees, visitors, and vendors while addressing questions or concerns.
  • Record observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by management or site policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A current guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
