Descripción del trabajoAssist one elementary-aged student in the ways they need (emotionally, behaviorally, communication, adapt / simplify, redirection, etc.). Positively and productively occupy them, including them in playing with peers (games, sports, Legos, crafts, etc.). Carol Stream, Winfield, Bloomingdale Gymnasiums and playgrounds (at Elementary Schools and Park District Buildings). Weekday Afternoons Monday - Friday Shifts are approximately 3 : 30pm - 6 : 00pm (2.5 hours long) Let us know which days are best for you , as some students only attend a few days a week (ie : Tue / Thurs); but ideal candidates are available 5 afternoons per week. You could work up to 12 hours weekly . Please commit for the duration of this semester (end of May) When there is no school (holidays, breaks, & cancellations), the program does not run. Competitive wages ( $16.50 - $20 ) Flexible Hours Referral Bonus Possible additional work (Before Care, Preschool, Sports) - mornings, evenings, Saturdays. Must perform job duties independently . Firsthand experience providing direct support to individuals with special needs . Effectively communicate with individuals with developmental disabilities. Age 16+ , with access to reliable transportation. We are Western DuPage Special Recreation Association ( WDSRA ).
