Summary :

The skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in a Medsurg or Telemetry environment operates autonomously, showing a thorough understanding of patient care complexities. You will provide both routine and intricate care according to individualized treatment plans, while continuously enhancing your ability to manage diverse clinical scenarios. You will be responsible for assigning tasks and delegating responsibilities to other team members to efficiently navigate clinical situations.

Responsibilities :

• Exhibit proficiency in OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Display flexibility in assignments across various units.
• Regularly communicate availability for assignments.
• Adapt to assignments in multiple units as needed.
• Deliver nursing care aligned with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, employing the nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families within the scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and treatment efficacy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Identify learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers on health issues and available resources.
