The Role
We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Internal Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of all internal-facing events, including employee town halls, VP forums, leadership summits, and other corporate milestones. This role will serve as the single-threaded owner for internal events, overseeing end-to-end logistics, stakeholder alignment, and virtual production. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, operational excellence, and a passion for employee engagement. This role reports to the Director of Events.
Location and Schedule
Work Location : This is a Work from Home position.
Schedule : This role requires flexibility to accommodate event timelines, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. Standard business hours apply for planning and administrative tasks, but on-site presence during events is mandatory.
Travel : Travel may be required for off-site events and vendor meetings.
The Main Responsibilities
Key Duties
- Own the strategy, planning, and execution of all internal events, ensuring alignment with company culture, leadership messaging, and employee engagement goals.
- Lead the virtual event production team, overseeing platform setup, run-of-show, technical rehearsals, and live execution for hybrid and virtual formats.
- Partner with executive leadership, HR, and corporate communications to develop event agendas, speaker prep, and messaging frameworks.
- Manage internal event budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high production standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and alignment across departments.
- Develop and maintain event playbooks, templates, and best practices for internal activations, including AV, staging, branding, and audience experience.
- Oversee vendor relationships related to internal events, including production partners, venues, and catering.
- Track and report on internal event performance metrics, including attendance, engagement, feedback, and post-event ROI.
- Deliver post-event recaps and improvement plans based on stakeholder feedback and employee surveys.
- Lead and manage a team, providing clear direction and oversight of day-to-day work. Coach and develop junior team members, fostering growth and professional development.
- Create and maintain a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages engagement and high performance.
- Supervise team deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion.
- Manage agency relationships, driving alignment and efficiency across external partners.
- Ensure operational effectiveness, optimizing processes and resources for maximum impact.
Additional Responsibilities
Continuously improve internal event processes and innovate on formats that enhance employee experience and leadership visibility.Stay current on industry trends in internal communications, virtual engagement, and corporate event production.Collaborate with Corporate Communications to ensure internal events reflect company messaging, tone, and brand standards.Coordinate with Marketing and HR teams to integrate storytelling, recognition, and culture-building into internal events.What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor's degree in business administration and / or MarketingA minimum of 10 years of Event PlanningExperience managing a teamExperienced in working directly with senior executives as a strong collaborator and partnerDemonstrated and consistent excellence in program management and leading large in-person and virtual events, comfortable to adjust at the moment and going above and beyondExperience working collaboratively on a team and cross-functionally with other departmentsUnderstanding of marketing strategy and planningSkilled communicator with great interpersonal skillsMeticulous attention to detail and highly organizedUnderstanding of health and safety and accessibility regulations would be a plusMay require domestic and / or international travel up to 25%Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
