About The Role

The Accounts Payable Specialist II role is a Shared Services position reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Sr. Manager. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the processing of employee expense reports, administering the US corporate cards and managing workflow within the customer service portal. This hybrid position is in the Bowie, MD office.

What You'll Do

  • Audit large volume expense reports and enforce compliance as outlined by the global Travel and Expense policy
  • Create and deliver analytics reports to internal customers
  • Interact with internal and external customers, responding to Emburse Enterprise support inquiries or requests using Service Now ticketing system
  • Create and maintain system training documents as needed
  • Assist with training end users on system functionality for both invoice and expense modules
  • Assist with reviewing and updating content on the Atlas Travel and Expense homepage
  • Process AP invoices as needed in Emburse Enterprise and or Unit4 ERP

What You Will Need To Succeed

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience or similar
  • Experience in managing a Corporate Card Program and using automated document workflow applications
  • Advanced working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with making process improvements and documenting procedures
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Decision making, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with personnel at all levels of the organization
