We are seeking an experienced and motivated Risk Management Nurse with a strong leadership background in a skilled nursing facility setting (DON, ADON, risk management experience preferred).

This is a remote position with a focus on supporting long-term care facilities in Central and North Central Florida.

The ideal candidate is passionate about improving quality of care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and reducing litigation risk across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve risk management strategies in long term care facilities
• Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, clinical best practices, and survey readiness
• Support incident and accident investigations and implementation of corrective actions
• Analyze trends to identify clinical gaps and assist in developing proactive quality improvement plans
• Educate and train staff on risk mitigation, safety, and documentation standards
• Collaborate with leadership teams to enhance resident outcomes and minimize liability
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that impact risk management practices.
