GPI is seeking Construction Inspectors to provide construction inspection services on various Road & Bridge Construction projects throughout the state of New Jersey for NJDOT, NJ Turnpike Authority, NJ Transit, & DRPA projects. Candidates will inspect work & traffic control performed by the contractor to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.

Responsibilities :

• Assisting the project Resident Engineer with project administration.
• Complete daily reports, quantity calculations, and reports for construction work observed.
• Perform daily construction inspection of work activities, which may include the following :
• Collection of materials samples
• Field testing and sampling of concrete in accordance with ASTM standard procedures.
• Utilize field testing equipment to conduct in-place density tests of asphalt and / or soil
