STS Aviation Services is hiring Lead Aircraft Structures Technicians in Melbourne, Florida

The View From 10,000 Feet

STS Aviation Services is seeking qualified Lead Aircraft Structure technicians to join our overhaul and repair station in Melbourne, FL. These are full-time positions, primarily working on Airbus A320 and CRJ aircraft. We are now offering substantial bonuses to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years experience as an Aircraft Sheet Metal technician maintaining and repairing commercial and / or large regional aircraft; military experience acceptable.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Lead Aircraft Structures Technician or Supervisor.
  • Valid A&P license required.
  • Willingness and ability to work any shift or schedule.
  • Ability to obtain an airport license.

Additional Considerations

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • No medical restrictions limiting work.
  • Ability to pass background check and obtain badges.
  • Ability to ascend / descend ladders, stairs, and work stands unassisted.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Willingness to work in changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good judgment in team environment and aircraft safety.
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and understand manuals from company and manufacturers.
