About The Position

• 2 years of experience in Oncology
• Floating required : Yes - Med / Surg, Med / Tele, ED, Postpartum
• Weekend requirement : 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Documentation System : EPIC

Description :

The position requires an Oncology Registered Nurse.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in an oncology setting.

Candidates will float within the hospital based on census.

Weekend coverage requires 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week period.

This position includes self-scheduling.

Candidates must have ACLS and BLS certifications.

Experience with EPIC documentation is required.

Flexibility in working different units including Med / Surg, Med / Tele, ED, and Postpartum is expected.

Pre-approved time off must be disclosed at the time of application.

The unit primarily serves adult and geriatric patients.

Daily census ranges from 21 to 26 patients.

Patient ratios are 4 patients per nurse on days and nights.

This role may involve management of chemotherapy administration and various nursing procedures.
