Registered Nurse RN Intermediate Care

Employment Type : \nFull timeShift : \n12 Hour Night Shift\n\nDescription : \n\nAt Mercy Medical Center the Intermediate Care Unit provides quality care primarily for adult patients experiencing severe, but usually non-life-threatening issues requiring moderately complex assessments, intensive therapies, and interventions. Our professionalism, punctuality, attendance, teamwork, and empathy are at the core of how we represent intermediate care and care for our patients, together, we positively impact the lives of all our patients and their families.\n\nWhat you will do : \n\nIn this critical role you will assist in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.\n\nMinimum Qualifications : \n

• Education : Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred.\n
• Licensure : Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Massachusetts.\n
• Certification : BLS (AHA / ARC). ACLS required within 6 months of hire.\n\nPreferred Skills : \n
• Experience : Previous cardiac monitoring / telemetry experience preferred. Acute care, Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry preferred.\n\nWork Schedule : Full time, 36 hours 7pm-7am, Nights\n\nEvery Other Weekend / Holiday\n\nMinistry / Facility Information : \n\nMercy Medical Center has established itself as one of the leading providers of health care services in Western Massachusetts.
