Local Contract Nurse RN - Post Partum - $48-52 per hour

GHR Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Post Partum for a local contract nursing job in Towson, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Post Partum Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 09 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Local Contract Post Partum RN Provides specialized nursing care to mothers and newborns during the postpartum period. Supports recovery, promotes bonding, and ensures safe transition from delivery to discharge. Responsibilities :

• Assess postpartum mothers for pain, bleeding, healing, and overall recovery
• Monitor newborns for feeding, weight, vitals, and early signs of complications
• Provide breastfeeding support and educate parents on newborn care
• Administer medications and perform postpartum interventions as needed
• Assist with mother–baby bonding, safe sleep practices, and discharge readiness
• Collaborate with OB, pediatrics, lactation, and interdisciplinary teams
• Document assessments, interventions, and education accurately in the medical record Requirements :
• Active state RN license or compact license if applicable
• Minimum two years of Post Partum or Mother Baby RN experience
• Strong assessment, education, and maternal newborn care skills Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K offered.
