Hotel Sales And Marketing Manager

A little taste of your day-to-day :

Develop business through direct sales solicitation; secure new accounts, maintain existing accounts and execute tactical sales plans strategy to maximize the profitability of the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction. Oversee client functions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Every day is different, but you'll mostly be :

• Establishing client base of individuals, organizations, associations, social, and / or corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales efforts to secure business for the hotel to ensure that catering revenue goals are met or exceeded.
• Actively prospecting and qualifying new business.
• Negotiating guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and / or hotel services within approved booking guidelines.
• Accurately producing and / or reviewing all sales contracts, rate agreements, and / or banquet / catering event orders.
• Monitoring and handling inquiry calls and providing client proposals in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
• Working closely with other hotel departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients.
• Disseminate sales-related information to other departments as appropriate.
• Checking function room set ups prior to guest arrival, ensuring all details are in agreement with client's requirements and hotel's standards.
• Ensuring deficiencies are corrected by appropriate personnel.
• Welcoming group contact upon arrival at function and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Monitoring and ensuring all functions are set up, refreshed, and broken down in compliance with scheduled times and departmental procedures.
• Arranging and conducting special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients.
• Entertaining clients in accordance with established company and hotel policies and guidelines.
• Maintaining client files and updating information daily in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
• Producing monthly sales-related reports and sales forecasts for assigned area of responsibility.
• Attending and representing hotel at trade shows and conventions and / or participating in sales trips to key feeder markets.
• Following up with guests regularly during and after departure to ensure satisfaction and secure future bookings.

What we need from you :

Minimum of four years in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting. Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required.

What you can expect from us :

The hourly pay range for this role is $38.46 to $43.26 ($80,000 to $90,000 annually). This job is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance, 401k, and many other benefits to eligible employees.
