Job Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that all orders are picked, consolidated, packed and shipped in a timely and accurate manner. These tasks must be completed to an efficient and accurate standard to ensure smooth outbound operations. This position requires use of our internal warehouse systems and various warehouse equipment, which may include Powered Industrial Trucks.
SHIFT SCHEDULE
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6: AM to 6: PM
We only accept W-2 candidates, H-1B sponsorship is not available.
Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. · Retrieve items from racking accurately and efficiently, using our handheld scanning devices and ERP system, completed on foot or using forklift equipment
· Sort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanning devices, preparing customer orders for shipment processing
· Pack products accurately and securely using our internal SPS system, focusing on providing an excellent customer experience
· Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following all established protocols and promoting safe working standards
· Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of work
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership.
· Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals
· Abide by all company and warehouse policies
· Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation

Experience
· 1 year+ of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required.

· Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, order pickers, etc.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

· Customer service-oriented attitude with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations
