Job Title : Business Analyst Level 2

Location : Onsite, Washington, DC

Duration : 6 Months

Job Description : BACKGROUND

We are looking for an experienced consultant to provide Business Analyst Level 2 services for Talent and Performance Management, for our Client to meet changing requirements. The individual will play a crucial role in managing and delivering projects within these areas, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope while adhering to Agile principles and methodologies. The role requires business analysis skills to effectively document features, user stories and acceptance criteria, business / gap analysis, business process models, prototyping, system testing, analytical skills, manage project pipelines, facilitate Agile practices, and ensure that the development team delivers value to the business. 2. SCOPE OF WORK The Business Analyst Level 2 will be responsible for coordination and execution of the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure. This includes defining the business needs, recommended solution / s along with the documentation of the epics, features, user stories, prototypes and acceptance criteria.

Business Analysis :

Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders.

Create and maintain user stories and acceptance criteria.

Ensure that the development team understands the business needs and requirements.

Implement quality control processes and procedures.

Create Prototypes

System and Integration Testing

Agile Practices :

Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Ensure that the team adheres to Agile principles and practices.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Communication and Stakeholder Management :

Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, project team members, and other relevant parties.

Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.

Risk and Issue Management :

Identify and resolve project issues and risks.

Develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Monitor and report on project risks and issues.

3. SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Experience :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis

  • Experience in facilitating Agile practices and ceremonies
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
