Associate Attorney - Life Sciences Litigation

In the Life Sciences, Frier Levitt has represented pharmacies of all kinds and assisted with regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters. On the Healthcare side, the Firm's clients have included large physician group practices, hospitals, hospital medical staff, ambulatory surgery centers, laboratory companies, as well as the complete panoply of ancillary service providers. A Litigation Attorney for our Life Sciences team is sought for Frier Levitt's Pine Brook, NJ, office. This is an opportunity to join an active litigation practice group and work on complex litigation matters of national significance involving participants in the life sciences industry.

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for :

• Drafting of pleadings, motions and written discovery requests
• Due diligence, review and indexing of complex contract documents
• Oral and written communication with clients on factual investigation, litigation strategies and case status
• Drafting objections and responses to written discovery requests
• Review, analysis and indexing of document production
• Preparing and managing scheduling orders, protective orders, e-discovery orders
• Preparing deposition outlines and deposition exhibits
• Assisting with conducting & defending depositions of witnesses
• Preparing witness outlines and exhibits for trials and hearings in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies

Salary Note :   The posted salary of $160K-$170K is a predictive range for non-PharmD  attorneys.  For attorneys with a PharmD or pharmacy degree, the salary may be expected to start at $180K, and exact salary will depend on years of experience and other factors.
