Recycling Lead

Partner with Maintenance / Recycle Manager on all challenges, decisions, adjustments or changes to ensure that all aspects of the Bob's business plan are considered and followed. Thoroughly understand Bob's Discount Furniture Company & Department Policies and procedures. Ensure that department training plan encompasses quality, speed and accuracy. Mentor, guide, coach and train other Recycling employees in recycling materials, safe cleaning and material handling practices. Provide updates to Managers throughout the day on all day-to-day activities and progress of associates. Sort materials, operate forklift, and clamp trucks. Delegate tasks and follow up. All other duties as assigned. Schedule : Tuesday - Saturday, 10 : 00AM start time.

To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate strengths in the following skill areas :

• Strong leadership skills and general knowledge of supply chain operations.
• Ability to operate a variety of equipment including : bailers, forklift and clamp truck
• Excellent communication skills and must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Ability to adapt, organize and prioritize workload in a fast-paced work environment.

Great starting hourly pay at $20.00 - $23.00 / hour (Based on Experience)

Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance. Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center. Move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations. Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions. Standing, walking, lifting, and arranging product : 90%. Sitting : 5%. Desk or phone work : 5%.
