  • Practice Detail : Joining existing practice with 3 providers in a growing community
  • EMR System : Athena (clinic) / Medi Tech (hospital)
  • Facility : Ascension Saint Thomas Heart – Gallatin
  • Location : Gallatin, TN
  • This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and / or Medically Underserved Areas / Populations (MUA / P) Shortage Designation Type.

Responsibilities

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Saint Thomas to provide medical services to patients in Middle Tennessee.

Position Highlights :

  • Ascension Saint Thomas Heart boasts one of the most experienced cardiac programs in the nation
  • Join an established interventional cardiology group as the service line expands
  • Internal multi–specialty referral network
  • Interventional Cardiologist to work in the clinic, make rounds in the hospitals, and be part of the call Rotation
  • Experience in Interventional Cardiology required
  • BC / BE in cardiology

  • Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is the largest cardiovascular program in the region, offering access to over 80 cardiac specialists and subspecialists practicing at 45 locations throughout Middle TN and Southern KY. When advanced care is needed the experienced teams at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown, West and Rutherford are ready to care for you.
  • Each year, we provide care to more than 7,000 heart failure patients using evidence–based care plans.
  • Cardiac surgery is offered at both Ascension Saint Thomas West and Rutherford.
  • The largest adult cardiac surgery and most comprehensive structural heart program in the region
  • Actively participates in over 30 clinical trials to advance high quality innovation and excellence in patient care
  • Provides latest technology in heart transplant, VAD, ECMO, TAVR and mitral clips and advanced coronary therapies
