Descripción del trabajoProvide strategic and operational leadership for the Emergency Department and Short Stay Observation Unit. Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered clinical care. Drive quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee day-to-day operations, including resource allocation, staffing, and budget management. Lead, mentor, and support interdisciplinary teams to foster a positive and collaborative culture. Collaborate with medical staff, nursing leadership, and ancillary departments to achieve patient care goals and maintain regulatory compliance. Champion efforts to improve patient satisfaction and team engagement. Serve as a hands-on clinical leader, providing direct clinical support as needed, especially during staffing shortages. Maintain a strong presence across all shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) to effectively support and lead teams. Ensure adherence to clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in emergency care. On-site, full-time role with variable shifts; requires Colorado RN license (or eligibility), relevant certifications (ACLS, PALS), and 5+ years of progressive emergency / acute care leadership experience. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related healthcare field required; Master’s degree preferred. Active RN license in the State of Colorado (or eligible for licensure). Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in emergency services or acute care, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required; Nurse Executive Board Certification (NEBC), Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or equivalent certification preferred. Strong knowledge of clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and emergency care best practices.
