Overview
Nelson Mullins law firm is looking for a mid-level tax associate to join its Affordable Housing group in the Orlando office. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of an expanding team who shows up for their clients.
A Day in the Life
One of the fastest growing and most dynamic cities in the country, Orlando’s economy is as diverse as our clients’ needs. Our office occupies two floors of the 390 North building located in the heart of downtown Orlando with a view of Lake Eola. You will be joining a hard-working team that represents for-profit and nonprofit developers in the development, acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, operation and sale of affordable multifamily housing for families and seniors throughout the US utilizing a wide range of federal, state and local affordable housing programs. We Know You
You have at least two years of meaningful experience in partnership tax and ideally in federal income tax credits. Your undergraduate degree is in Accounting and you hold an LLM in Taxation (preferred). With your background in accounting, you possess excellent academic credentials and strong writing, analytical, and communications skills. You are detail-oriented, have excellent follow through and are a member (in Good Standing) of any state bar
