Direct Support Staff

Our Direct Support Professionals help people find joy living in their own homes. A perfect job for those interested in the fields of nursing, medical supports, social work, behavior supports, and therapy, but anyone with a desire to help others will find it rewarding and meaningful. - Willingness to pass a background investigation
- Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting
- Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Observe and report any changes in individuals' behavior or health status
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Foster effective communication and build positive relationships with individuals and their families
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest quality of care
Qualifications
Strong caregiving skills with a focus on supporting individuals with developmental disabilitiesExcellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and their familiesAbility to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide careExperience in group home settings or long-term care is a plus, but not requiredBasic knowledge of first aid and safety protocols is beneficialWillingness to learn and adapt in a caregiving environmentNo Prior Experience Necessary – We Will Train You!You Will Gain :
