Production Supervisor

Valgroup is hiring a Production Supervisor in Findlay, Ohio .

What you will do :

  • Prioritize and lead safety and quality initiatives
  • Supervise production to meet operational goals
  • Collaborate across departments to meet customer and business needs
  • Provide technical support to operations and maintenance
  • Develop and mentor team members
  • Establish standard procedures in production and training

Skills needed for success :

  • Experienced leader and collaborator
  • Great communication and people skills
  • Critical thinking problem-solver
  • Mechanical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Implementation and change management experience
  • Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft applications
  • Flexibility to off-hours questions
  • Experience with extrusion production is a plus
  • Preferred candidate will possess 3 years' experience directly leading others within a manufacturing environment, with a 2-year degree or equivalent.
