We’re seeking a passionate and driven  Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner  to join our regional Neonatal Intensive Care team in  Muskegon and Grand Rapids, Michigan . This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

  • Position Type :  Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
  • Schedule : 1820 hours (83 scheduled shifts or equivalent) annually

68 25-hour shifts to cover both Grand Rapids NICU & Muskegon Special Care Unit.

  • 15 8-hour shifts are scheduled Monday-Friday for Grand Rapids NICU providing direct and indirect patient care.
  • Location :  Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan
  • Specialty :  Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with neonatology fellowship training
  • Hospital Info :  Grand Rapids : 15-bed NICU Level III, Muskegon : 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery
  • Call Requirements : No Call Required for APPs

  • Requirements

  • Relevant clinical experience preferred
  • APPs :  Board certified in specialty prior to employment
  • Active Michigan medical license
  • DEA license
  • ACLS / BLS certification (must be maintained)
  • Duties & Responsibilities

    A typical day may include :

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
