We’re seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner to join our regional Neonatal Intensive Care team in Muskegon and Grand Rapids, Michigan . This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

Position Type : Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Schedule : 1820 hours (83 scheduled shifts or equivalent) annually

68 25-hour shifts to cover both Grand Rapids NICU & Muskegon Special Care Unit.

15 8-hour shifts are scheduled Monday-Friday for Grand Rapids NICU providing direct and indirect patient care.

Location : Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan

Specialty : Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with neonatology fellowship training

Hospital Info : Grand Rapids : 15-bed NICU Level III, Muskegon : 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery

Call Requirements : No Call Required for APPs

Requirements

Relevant clinical experience preferred

APPs : Board certified in specialty prior to employment

Active Michigan medical license

DEA license

ACLS / BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include :

Providing direct patient care

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Participating in teaching and mentoring

Documenting in Epic EMR

Engaging in quality improvement initiatives

Supporting community health efforts
