Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our Medical Imaging Department as faculty. This full-time position offers an opportunity to shape the future of medical imaging by providing high-quality instruction and mentorship to students.
The faculty member will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in the Medical Imaging Department in both the associate and certificate programs, supporting students' academic and professional development. The standard faculty load will include teaching lectures, laboratory, and clinical courses. This is a full-time, 9-month position. The salary range is $40,000-$45,000. Actual offer will be commensurate with education and experience. This position is grant-funded.
Examples of Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans, assignments, and exams aligned with the program's curriculum as appropriate.
- Provide classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction to students in radiologic technology as applicable.
- Supervise and mentor students during clinical rotations if applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and performance.
- Collaborate with the program director to enhance course content and delivery methods.
- Stay current with emerging trends, techniques, and advancements in radiologic technology.
- Participate in course development, assessment, and curriculum review processes as needed.
- Attend institutional, division, and department meetings and events as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or associate's degree in radiologic technology and a bachelor's degree in a related field.Two or more full-time years of experience as a radiologic technologist.Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) radiography certification.Strong communication and organizational skills.Proficiency in using integrative technologies for instruction.Preferred :
Previous teaching or clinical instruction experience.Master's degreeAdditional Information
