Web Developer Senior with Security Clearance
SteelGate is looking for a talented Web Developer to join our team. The Web Developer will be part of a team that supports our Department of Defense Client supporting a cutting-edge program supporting DoD information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations.
Typical Duties Include :
- Consults and collaborates with office section managers and end users to facilitate adoption of current and emerging Information Knowledge Management standards, guidance, and best practices
- Performs advanced configuration of SharePoint sites, pages, lists, document libraries, and metadata
- Enhances existing applications, where possible, to automate business processes
- Captures process and technology gaps and identifies Out-of-the-Box and / or custom SharePoint solutions to satisfy user needs
- Collaborates with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new solutions
- Designs creative prototypes according to specifications
- Tests code and conducts functional and non-functional testing
- Reviews and analyzes software defects
- Troubleshoot / debug / identify malfunctioning systems and implement software fixes
- Performs other technical duties in support of SharePoint operations and maintenance, such as site collection administration, as directed
- Strong problem-solving skills required
- Must have strong customer-facing service and communications skills (written and verbal)
Experience :
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent relevant experience10+ years of experience4 or more years hands on with SharePoint 2016 or 2019DoD 8570 IAT Level II CertificationRelated SharePoint training / certification4 or more years substantial experience with SharePoint solution developmentSharePoint infrastructure maintenance and security hardeningClearance Requirements : TS / SCI
