We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Training Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Wichita, United States. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs that enhance the skills and performance of our manufacturing workforce.
- Design and implement effective training programs aligned with manufacturing processes and company objectives
- Assess training needs and develop curriculum to address skill gaps in the manufacturing team
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to improve employee performance and productivity
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven improvements
- Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and ensure alignment with business goals
- Mentor and supervise training staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in manufacturing and training methodologies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards through targeted training initiatives
- Manage training budgets and resources efficiently
- Develop and maintain training documentation, including manuals, guides, and e-learning materials
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Education, or related field5+ years of experience in manufacturing training or related fieldPrevious supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentProven track record in developing and implementing successful training programsStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, industry best practices, and safety standardsExcellent leadership and team management skillsOutstanding communication and presentation abilitiesProficiency in training software and learning management systemsIn-depth understanding of adult learning principles and instructional designExperience with performance evaluation and assessment techniquesAbility to analyze training needs and develop targeted curriculumStrong organizational and time management skillsAdaptability to changing manufacturing technologies and training methodologiesCertified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar certification preferred
