The core responsibilities of this role include:
Job duties include transporting and switching trailers to and from assigned areas, re-fueling and maintaining yard switch equipment to ensure proper working order.
Position: Yard Driver (NON-DOT) Shift: Monday - Friday 4:30 PM-12:30 AM Pay: $21.95 plus $1.00 shift premium
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: [EXAMPLE: A minimum of 6 months operating a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift or Reach Truck]

Role Purpose:
Drives switching equipment, tractors, and straight trucks to transport goods or equipment to and from designated locations. Makes decisions in sequencing schedule to maintain efficient loading and unloading operations. Loads and unloads trailers and verifies product count. Maintains a clean and safe docking area and reports any maintenance or safety issues to supervision. Refuels vehicles on site and documents locations and condition of equipment.
