Position Overview
JLL is seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to oversee the comprehensive management, maintenance, and optimization of commercial real estate properties and facilities. This role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective facility operations while supporting business objectives and occupant satisfaction across our diverse portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize asset life and minimize downtime
Manage vendor relationships and service contracts to ensure optimal performance and value
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (building codes, safety, environmental)
Coordinate space planning, moves, and modifications to support client needs
Financial Management
Develop and manage annual facility budgets and capital expenditure plans
Track and analyze operational expenses, identifying cost reduction opportunities
Negotiate contracts with service providers and suppliers
Prepare comprehensive financial reports and variance analyses
Team Leadership
Lead and develop facilities management staff to achieve performance excellence
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (HR, IT, Security, Operations)
Manage external contractors and service providers
Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing professional development
Strategic Planning
Develop long-term facility strategic plans aligned with business objectives
Assess space utilization and recommend optimization strategies
Evaluate new technologies and sustainability initiatives
Support workplace transformation and hybrid work models
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field
7+ years of progressive facilities management experience in commercial real estate
3+ years in a supervisory or management role
Technical Competencies
Proficiency in CAFM / IWMS software systems (preferably JLL platforms)
Understanding of building automation systems (BAS) and IoT technologies
Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety
Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
Understanding of construction processes and project management principles
Core Skills
Excellent leadership and team management abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
Advanced problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities
Vendor and stakeholder relationship management
Regulatory compliance knowledge (OSHA, ADA, fire codes, environmental regulations)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Certifications
Professional certifications : CFM (Certified Facility Manager), FMP (Facility Management Professional), SFP (Sustainability Facility Professional), or LEED AP
Project Management certification (PMP) preferred
Experience
Experience with JLL platforms and methodologies
Background in sustainability practices and energy management programs
Experience supporting Fortune 500 clients or large corporate portfolios
Knowledge of workplace strategy and space optimization initiatives
International facilities management experience
Technical Preferences
Advanced proficiency in business intelligence and data analytics tools
Experience with smart building technologies and predictive maintenance systems
Knowledge of emergency preparedness and business continuity planning
Familiarity with ESG reporting and sustainability frameworks
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Range :
$85,000 - $130,000 annually (varies by location and experience)

Estimated compensation for this position :
100,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
