Interventional Radiology Job Details

Job Title : Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist

Location : Greenville, SC (29605) – South Carolina healthcare jobs

Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital

Start Date : September 22, 2025

Assignment Duration : 1 week

Shifts per Week : 5

Shift Length : 8-hour day shifts

Estimated Weekly Pay : $12,495 - $13,884

Schedule : Scheduled shifts, no on-call required

Physician Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. medical school

Completed residency in diagnostic radiology (ACGME or AOA accredited)

Board certified in radiology (ABR or AOA)

Active, unrestricted South Carolina medical license

Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience

Proficient with radiology information systems (RIS) and PACS

Subspecialty certification in interventional radiology preferred

Key Responsibilities

Interpret diagnostic imaging studies : X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds

Deliver accurate and timely radiology reports to referring healthcare providers

Collaborate with clinicians to diagnose and manage patient care based on imaging results

Perform interventional radiology procedures : angiography, stent placement, embolization, biopsies, and more

Follow quality assurance and patient safety protocols in the radiology department

Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare conferences and patient rounds

Maintain sterile technique and proper care of central venous lines, PICC lines, and vascular closure devices
