Job Title : Ecommerce Solutions Architect

Location : Cleveland, OH

Job Description : Role Overview :

We are seeking a talented and experienced Ecommerce Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge ecommerce solutions that drive our business's success.

As the Ecommerce Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of scalable, high-performance ecommerce systems and solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders, to ensure our ecommerce platforms meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Solution Design : Lead the design and architecture of ecommerce solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives, scalability, and performance requirements.
  • Technology Evaluation : Evaluate and recommend ecommerce technologies, platforms, and tools that enhance the overall shopping experience and streamline operations.
  • Integration : Oversee the integration of various ecommerce systems, including payment gateways, inventory management, order processing, and third-party services.
  • Scalability : Design systems that can scale to accommodate increased traffic and sales, especially during peak seasons or promotional events.
  • Security : Implement robust security measures to protect customer data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., PCI DSS).
  • Performance Optimization : Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of ecommerce platforms to ensure fast page load times and smooth user experiences.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with development teams, UX / UI designers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of ecommerce architectures, design decisions, and best practices.
  • Technical Leadership : Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to development teams to ensure the successful implementation of ecommerce solutions.
  • Quality Assurance : Implement best practices for quality assurance and testing to deliver reliable and bug-free ecommerce systems.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as an Ecommerce Solutions Architect or a similar role in designing and implementing ecommerce solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce platforms, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in ecommerce-related programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with cloud-based ecommerce solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
