Descripción del trabajoExperience with other BI tools like Tableau or Power BI. Understanding of intent modeling and semantic modeling in Cognos. Ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate across teams. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries using IBM Cognos Analytics. Design and build metadata models using Framework Manager. Integrate Cognos reports with other enterprise systems as needed. Maintain documentation for all reporting solutions and processes. Provide support and training to end-users on Cognos tools and reporting best practices. Assess current architecture and identify limitations, then define future architecture requirements. Analyze and present data to answer specific business questions. Provide industry best practices and market trends in Cognos Data Modeling. Comprehensive health and wellness benefits. Introduction
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data modeling and business intelligence development, with a focus on IBM Cognos Analytics. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, contributing to innovative solutions and supporting organizational decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technology field.
- 5 years of experience in data modeling and BI development, preferably with IBM Cognos.
- Strong technical expertise in report development, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics, including Report Studio, Workspace, Query Studio, and Dashboarding.
- Proficiency in Framework Manager for metadata modeling and Cognos Connection for report scheduling and distribution.
