What you'll do
Create or modify telecommunications and permit drawingsDesign small extensions and small system redesigns, in accordance with customer design specificationsProduce high-quality drafts using AutoCAD or other specified software for mapping data and designCoordinate project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that drafting and design work aligns with overall project goalsProvide necessary information to the team on a timely basis, including strand maps, drafted design maps, and BOM's or digital filesMaintain high production levels to meet & exceed client expectationsLearn new software and adapt to new technology as neededMeet project deadlines and successfully complete tasks under tight timelinesOther duties as assignedWhat you'll need
To be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyHigh School Diploma, GED equivalent, or up to two years of Telecom Outside Plant (OSP) Design / Engineering Experience is requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferredCoursework or internship experience in design and drafting is preferredPhysical abilities & exposures
