Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative for the Commercial Auto team is responsible for assisting agents with inquiries regarding their policies, including status updates, billing issues, pending changes, binding policies, and more.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls, chats, and emails regarding policy questions and changes.
  • Researches, responds to, and resolves customer issues with accurate information in a timely fashion.
  • Retrieves information from company systems (based on customer inquiry) and communicates information back to the customer in a clear and educated manner.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions using the agency management system (ImageRight).
  • Work closely with underwriters, producers, and carriers to ensure seamless service.
  • Experience working and interacting with across multiple departments, businesses, and companies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of carrier guidelines as well as our products, services and current company promotions.
  • Responsible for binding new incoming policies

Basic and Preferred Qualifications (Education and Experience)

  • 2-year minimum office experience (Required)
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Required)
  • Minimum Job Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail, is dependable and follows through.
  • Ability to read and interpret information.
  • Ability to work 8am - 5pm PST
  • High level of maturity to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with people throughout the organization.
  • Ability to work under demanding time constraints and production goals.
  • Strong organizational ability.

    $19 -$22 and will depend on several factors including geographical location, relevant experience, skills and knowledge pertaining to this role and industry.
